1. How do I purchase a CatchACharacter™ Gift Card or eGift Certificate and how much does it cost?
  Answers:
 
  • Gift Cards and eGift Certificates can be purchased online here or by calling Customer Service at 281.557.6226 (Monday through Friday | 8a-7p EST).
  • Gift Cards can also be purchased from participating fundraising organizations.
  • Gift Cards and eGift Certificates cost $9.99 for the first and $4.99 for all others up to 10.
  • If you'd like to purchase more than 10, please contact us here.

2. What can I purchase with a CatchACharacter™ Gift Card or eGift Certificate?

 

 
  Answer: Gift Cards and eGift Certificates are redeemable for 1 single photo on any CatchACharacter™ web site.

3.

How do I redeem a CatchACharacter™ Gift Card or eGift Certificate?
  Answer: Redeeming a Gift Card or eGift Certificate is an easy, three-step process:
  Step 1. Create your photo first, then go to the checkout page. During checkout, click the 'Card/Code' image that looks like a coupon.
   
 
  Step 2. Enter your code
 
  a. Type or paste your code into the form (you don't have to include the dashes)
  b. Click the 'Apply Code' button
  c. If your code is valid, you will see the Happy Face icon
  d. The price for your photo will be reduced to $0
   
 
   
  Step 3. Enter your name and agree to the terms
 
  a. Type your name and email address into the form
  b. Click the checkbox after reading the Terms & Conditions
  c. Click the 'Proceed to Secure Checkout' button

Where is the coupon code on a Gift Card or eGift Certificate?
  Answer: On a Gift Card the coupon code is hidden beneath the gray rectangular box on the back of the card. Scratch the area gently with a coin to reveal the code.
 
   
  Answer: The recipient of the eGift Certificate will be sent your personal message in an email with a link to a Personal Gift Page. The coupon code is displayed at the bottom of the Gift Page under the header 'Gift Code Details'.

5 How long does it take and what are the shipping charges to deliver a Gift Card or an eGift Certificate?
  Answer: Gift Card delivery depends on the delivery method you select:
 
  • Standard Shipping: 7 days ($1 per recipient/per address)
  • Next Day Shipping: 1 business day ($10 per recipient/per address)

Do Gift Cards or eGift Certificates expire?
 
  Answer: No. There is no expiration date for our Gift Cards or eGift Certificates.

7.

Can a lost Gift Card or eGift Certificate be replaced?
  Answer: For Gift Cards, no. The terms printed on the back of the Gift Card clearly state that the card will not be replaced if lost or stolen. For further inquiry, contact CatchACharacter™ customer service at 281.557.6226.

For eGift Certificates, please contact the person who sent the eGift Certificate and request that he/she resend the code to you.

CatchACharacter™ is not responsible for lost or misplaced Gift Cards and eGift Certificates.

When is a Gift Card or eGift Certificate activated?
  Answer: Gift Cards and eGift certificates are ready to use as soon as you receive them. There is no separate activation process involved.

9.

 Will I receive confirmation of receipt when I send an e-gift certificate to someone else?
  Answer: Yes. Upon completion of your purchase, you will receive an email confirming that the eGift Certificate was sent. You will also receive an email confirmation when the recipient redeems the eGift Certificate on any of our sites.

Can I add to the balance of a gift card?
  Answer: No. Gift Cards have no balance or cash value when issued. They simply offer a means of delivering the coupon code hidden on the back. Once a card's code has been redeemed, and just like a store coupon, the card has no value and should be disposed of appropriately.

Are CatchACharacter™  Gift Cards offered with different designs?
  Answer: Yes. We currently offer two designs (the 'CatchACharacter™ Group' and 'cupid'). We will soon offer cards featuring Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy and Cupid. All Gift Cards are valid on all CatchACharacter™ sites.
